Neurodiagnostic Technologist

Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Neurodiagnostic Tech Educator, prepares patients for various diagnostic and investigative studies, including EEG, EMG, and long-term monitoring, in the laboratory, at the bedside, and in critical care units. Additional duties include charge capture, scheduling patients, and other tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for diagnostic and investigative studies, including EEG, EMG, and long-term monitoring.
- Conduct tests and procedures according to established protocols.
- Charge capture and scheduling patients.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Ability to perform EEG, EMG, and long-term monitoring.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of experience as a Neurodiagnostic Technician preferred.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Registered by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) in a minimum of 1 of the following: Registered Electroencephalography Technologist (EEG), Registered Nerve Conduction Velocity Testing (EMG/NCV), Certified Autonomic Professional (CAP), Certified Long Term Monitoring Technologist (CLTM), Registered Evoked Potential Technologist.
