Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the property by executing minor repairs such as painting, plumbing, and electrical tasks using hand tools.
  • Replace filters in air conditioning units to ensure optimal performance.
  • Inform management about significant repairs or enhancements required for lighting, heating, and ventilation systems.
  • Conduct maintenance on furnaces, air conditioners, and boilers to guarantee guests have access to heating, cooling, and hot water.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on all equipment.
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Maintain Material Safety Data Sheets for all relevant chemicals.
  • Program phone systems according to hotel specifications.
  • Train and collaborate with hotel maintenance staff across various tasks.
  • Ensure that the hotel's interior and exterior are maintained to high standards.
  • Handle painting, trim work, and repairs on wallpaper, carpets, sheetrock, and doors.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of supplies necessary for hotel upkeep.

  • Address minor maintenance issues and escalate major concerns to management.
  • Track completed maintenance tasks and ensure adequate stock of commonly used parts and supplies.
  • Inspect and resolve minor issues in common areas of the hotel.
  • Learn and implement emergency procedures while ensuring safe operation of all equipment and chemicals.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures related to the role.
  • Report to work punctually, dressed appropriately, and in compliance with company standards.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
