Position Overview

Alleghany Highlands Community Services is dedicated to offering essential services and assistance to individuals facing behavioral health challenges and those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Day Support Program Provider plays a crucial role in delivering skill enhancement opportunities and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments to identify the needs and preferences of individuals, focusing on what is vital for their well-being.
  • Design and execute engaging activities tailored to meet the identified needs while providing supervision and support.
  • Facilitate skill development in areas such as problem-solving, motor skills, personal care, social interaction, health awareness, communication, daily living activities, and positive behavioral practices.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED (mandatory)
  • Valid Driver's License (mandatory)
