Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified part-time faculty member to join our Agriculture program at Allan Hancock College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in various disciplines within the Agriculture program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality instruction in accordance with established curriculum and course outlines.
  • Maintain current knowledge in the subject matter areas and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student success and diversity.
  • Assignments may include teaching day, evening, or weekend classes.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Science, Education with a specialization in Agriculture, or other related fields.
  • OR the equivalent.
Benefits
  • Competitive hourly rate: $65.74 to $86.44 per hour (Lecture Rate), $57.27 to $75.26 per hour (Lab Rate), and $37.13 to $50.62 per hour (Activity Rate), depending on education and experience.
