Merchandising Specialist

Abilene Goodwill Industries is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Merchandiser. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for maintaining a visually appealing store environment by stocking merchandise in a presentable fashion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure a positive customer experience by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
• Assist in receiving and processing merchandise, including stocking shelves and facing merchandise.
• Participate in floor moves, merchandising, and display maintenance to ensure a visually appealing store environment.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and management to ensure seamless store operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the success of the store.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior experience necessary, but a willingness to learn and take direction is essential.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
