Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching students about water safety and swimming techniques using our approved curriculum.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality swim instruction based on our approved curriculum.
  • Ensure the safety of students by enforcing all safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Provide assistance and administer First Aid and CPR when necessary.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the pool and swimming areas to maintain cleanliness and identify potential maintenance issues.
  • Store and maintain all pool equipment, including lane lines.
  • Report accidents and incidents to management and complete required documentation.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience as a certified lifeguard, swimming instructor, youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor, or childcare provider is preferred.
  • Strong swimming abilities and First Aid/CPR certification are required.
  • A positive attitude and friendly demeanor are essential.
  • Ability to receive training and adapt to new situations.
