UGE Laborer/Groundman

Job Summary

The UGE Laborer/Groundman is a key member of the Construction team, responsible for preparing and cleaning construction sites, loading and unloading building materials, operating equipment and machines, and assisting craft workers with their duties.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare the construction site for work, removing debris and potential hazards.
• Assist tradesmen in completing their skilled tasks more effectively.
• Identify utilities and coordinate with the dig crew to prevent utility hits.
• Clean and maintain equipment.
• Restock trucks with supplies to ensure crews have the necessary tools and materials to complete the job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Preferred: 1 year of experience and CDL Class A driver's license.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This role operates in a field environment, requiring extended periods of physical activity, including bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, and working in inclement weather conditions.
