Installation Superintendent Job Description

Job Summary:

The Installation Superintendent is a key field position responsible for performing a wide range of installation duties on technology projects for our clients. This role requires coordination with project management, field superintendents, and others to fully understand their role on specific projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review the Bill of Materials (BOM) at the beginning of every job and ensure all necessary materials are available.
  • Coordinate with project management and design engineering teams to ensure accurate installation of systems.
  • Maintain the schedule given for the job and follow DIV28 specifications for quality control.
  • Communicate with regional supervisors on a weekly basis and keep written records of job progress, issues, and milestones.
  • Delegate work to technicians and lead technicians as needed, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Ensure all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of related experience with admin capabilities to manage day-to-day project requirements.
  • Knowledge of access control/CCTV systems, installation, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with systems such as Genetec, Avigilon, Lenel, AMAG, S2, Honeywell, Software House, Bosch, and DMP.
  • Clean driving record and ability to operate a vehicle.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors, standing, sitting, and ladder use.
