Nursing Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Consulate Health Care. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in delivering direct care to residents and patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and life care standards.
Responsibilities:
- Caring for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of our residents.
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including wardrobe, personal hygiene, and mobility.
- Aiding in daily tasks such as using the telephone, laundry, transportation, and mail delivery.
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
- Medication reminders.
- Observing and reporting changes in residents' condition and status.
- Conducting rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents.
- Assisting in dining, including escorting residents to the dining room, serving, and clean up.
- Providing companionship and conversation.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Completion of a state-approved CNA certified nursing assistant certification course.
- Ability to read and communicate at an adequate level to essential job duties.
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect.
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner.
