Become a valued member of Emerald Health Services as a Travel Radiologic Technologist

Shift: Daytime, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Qualifications:
  • Active VA License
  • Minimum of 1 Year Experience
  • Open to candidates with less than 2 years of experience and first-time travelers
  • Proficiency in Digital Imaging required
  • Experience with 3D Imaging required
  • Completion of a Radiologic Technology training program and current ARRT certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an imaging technology training program
  • ARRT advanced certification in mammography or MQSA qualified
  • Current with required continuing education and experience
  • BLS Certification
  • Preferred: 2 years of experience in Mammography
  • Preferred: Familiarity with database software, RIS/PACS software, and eRad
  • Preferred: Experience with diagnostic procedures including ultrasound core and biopsies
  • Preferred: Prior experience in quality control
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for operating x-ray equipment and executing various mammography-related procedures with precision. This role is crucial to the organization, influencing patient satisfaction and overall profitability.

Mammography Skills / Procedures / Experience:

- Required: Digital and 3D Imaging proficiency

- Preferred: 2 years of Mammography experience

- Preferred: Knowledge of database software, RIS/PACS software, and eRad

- Preferred: Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and biopsies

- Ability to understand medical terminology and maintain prolonged standing

Required Certifications/Licenses:

- BLS Certification

- Completion of a Radiologic Technology training program and current ARRT certification; ARRT advanced certification in mammography or MQSA qualified; Up-to-date with required continuing education and experience

- Non-restricted licensure in the state of employment
