The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in manufacturing finance and accounting, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. This position demands a meticulous professional capable of overseeing accounting functions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and offering strategic financial guidance to facilitate organizational growth.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage all accounting functions including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
  • Lead the development of the budget and financial forecasts, and analyze variances.
  • Prepare and distribute timely monthly financial reports.
  • Oversee the preparation of regulatory compliance reports.
  • Investigate technical accounting matters to ensure compliance.
  • Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Guarantee quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax obligations.
  • Formulate and document business processes and accounting policies to enhance internal controls.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. CPA or CMA designation is preferred.
  • At least 10 years of progressive accounting experience, with a minimum of 5 recent years in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong grasp of accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience with general ledger operations and the month-end/year-end closing cycle.
  • Proficient in accounting software and administration.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite is highly advantageous.
  • Experience in e-commerce and with private equity-backed companies is a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
