Position Overview:
As a Bilingual Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in managing the recruitment process for our hourly positions across various manufacturing sites. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing job requisitions, evaluating candidate applications, conducting phone interviews, and organizing in-person interviews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of plant structures, job specifications, operational hours, compensation, workforce dynamics, and requirements.
- Advertise hourly job openings within manufacturing facilities and track application submissions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Collaborate with Operational Leaders, HR, and Hiring Managers to anticipate and prioritize recruitment needs.
- Facilitate intake meetings with Hiring Managers to identify essential job qualifications and desired soft skills.
- Design strategic phone interview frameworks based on job descriptions and company culture.
- Conduct phone interviews to assess candidate suitability based on experience and cultural fit, presenting top candidates to Hiring Managers.
- Hold weekly discussions with Hiring Managers to ensure smooth candidate progression through the hiring process.
- Effectively communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment workflow, ensuring timely updates.
- Utilize the applicant tracking system to oversee the recruitment process, maintaining accurate records to comply with company standards.
- Leverage various recruitment channels, including ATS, social media, job boards, and community organizations, to identify potential candidates.
- Build and sustain talent pipelines to meet current and future hiring demands.
- Engage with sourced talent creatively and strategically to align with market needs.
- Develop and implement a targeted talent acquisition marketing strategy to fulfill operational staffing requirements.
- Organize and participate in job fairs and career events to promote employment opportunities.
- Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring teams.
- Act as a brand ambassador for PGT Innovations, promoting our employer brand.
- Follow up on employee referrals to enhance recruitment efforts.
- Formulate personalized recruiting strategies, evaluating candidates against job specifications.
- Identify candidates whose personalities align well with the position, even if their qualifications differ.
- Adapt review methods for candidate applications to determine suitability for phone screenings.
- Match candidates to roles based on cultural fit and subjective criteria.
- Provide recommendations to Hiring Managers regarding adjustments to expectations or compensation to attract top talent.
- Draft and refine job descriptions by understanding the responsibilities of each role and utilizing various recruiting tools.
- Exercise independent judgment in candidate assessment, resume evaluation, and sourcing to identify leading talent.
Qualifications:
- Experience in manufacturing is essential.
- Familiarity with iCIMS and UGK is preferred.
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience or a combination of relevant experience and education.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments in a high-volume environment.
- Knowledge of recruitment laws and regulations at local, state, and federal levels.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- High level of customer service orientation.
- Ability to multitask and collaborate with diverse team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills that can influence and persuade.
- Self-motivated team player with a proactive approach.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of ATS and CRM systems.
