Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Floor Tech to join our team at Healthcare Services Group. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing floor maintenance tasks, including dusting, wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, and bonneting of hard surface and carpeted areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform floor maintenance tasks according to schedule and protocols
  • Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables
  • Recycle soiled linen from patient units
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a clean and safe environment
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures
