Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all phases of heavy civil construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Formulate and execute project work plans, ensuring timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
  • Coordinate and supervise construction personnel and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to quality standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct thorough project reviews to schedule deliverables and estimate costs accurately.
  • Maintain effective communication with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals.
  • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate project risks.
  • Negotiate contract terms with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Review and approve project designs and deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction project management.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in project management software and applications.
  • Proven success in managing large-scale construction projects from conception to completion.
  • Strong leadership and management capabilities, with the ability to guide a team and make critical decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
  • Outstanding communication abilities, both written and verbal.
