Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyze and comprehend the specifications of Bid Requests.
- Formulate a strategic approach to bidding based on the information available.
- Oversee the Bid process.
Bid Document Management:
- Engage with Subs/Vendors.
- Address inquiries from Subs.
- Issue Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Manage Addendums, Changes, and Supplemental Information.
- Conduct Job Walks.
- Develop a preliminary schedule to assess project duration for general condition calculations.
- Evaluate scopes and identify the most competitive strategies for project execution.
- Estimate projects with a practical understanding of construction requirements.
- Perform quantity take-offs to validate and assess subcontractor bids.
- Evaluate and qualify bids, manage risks, and balance cost against performance.
- Assess conditions of proposals.
- Present Proposals and track awards to finalize agreements.
- Understand Consensus and AIA contract documents.
- Prepare Owner contracts and contract exhibits.
- Draft subcontractor scope of work exhibits.
- Deliver Project Handover packages to the R&R Project team.
- Assist with project initiation and procurement of long lead items.
Compensation: The salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $135,000.
