About the Role

This internship is designed for students pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or MIS. You'll work on developing Web-based and Java mission systems for the Intelligence, Global Strike, and Nuclear Planning communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Web or Java code in a team environment
  • Collaborate with systems engineers, architects, scrum masters, product owners, and end users
  • Contribute to the design, defect correction, and testing of software systems
Requirements
  • Enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or MIS
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA desired but not required
  • Ability to develop Web or Java code in a team environment
  • Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance
Desired Skills
  • Familiarity with development tooling Eclipse, Jenkins, GitLab, Gradle, GIT, JUnit, Selenium, JIRA
  • Experience with JavaScript Frameworks/Libraries (React/Angular/Vue), CSS, and HTML
  • Experience with CI/CD Pipelines
  • Experience with Web Services (REST) or JSON/XML experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
