Job Summary:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse with Wexford Health Sources, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care under the supervision of our experienced healthcare team. Your expertise will be essential in assisting with the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the delivery of patient care through the nursing process, working closely with our Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- Direct and guide patient teaching activities, providing education and support to patients and their families.
- Work under the guidance of our experienced healthcare team, including the Director of Nursing, Registered Nurses, and Medical Director.
- Collaborate with IDOC personnel as needed to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of practice.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
