Job SummaryOxylife Respiratory Services, LLC is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivering medical equipment to our most vulnerable population, ensuring timely and efficient service.Key Responsibilities
  1. Adhere to and implement all company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service, being compassionate and empathetic with the public.
  3. Take all necessary actions to ensure company compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  4. Inform Dispatch Manager and report on all successes and failures.
  5. Seek tasks and inform Dispatch Manager of idle time before, after, and between deliveries.
  6. Attend office meetings and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  7. Clean equipment brought back from the previous day for a minimum of ½ hour each morning before starting route preparation.
  8. Deliver and set-up equipment and supplies efficiently, providing instructions to clients as needed.
  9. Update Customer Service with any changes to your daily posted route.
  10. Be familiar with and adhere to all regulatory and safety procedures related to the delivery of gaseous oxygen.
  11. Pick up equipment in a timely manner and maintain accurate delivery, pick up, and exchange records.
  12. Be on-call as per company policy and complete and advise customers of care plans.
  13. Update Warehouse Manager and/or Dispatch Manager of any follow-up action or concerns via progress notes.
  14. Ensure accuracy and completeness of all paperwork, submitting it to Warehouse Manager by 8:30 am the following morning.
  15. Assist with inventory control, including putting new stock away.
  16. Help maintain branch building and grounds by cleaning, painting, and performing minor repairs.
  17. Responsible for the safe operation and routine care of company vehicles, reporting any mechanical issues or damage.
  18. Assist all other company team members whenever possible.
  19. Perform other duties as requested by management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be clean and neat in personal appearance and hygiene.
  • Ability to effectively work with all members of the organization.
  • Two years of experience in medical equipment.
  • Excellent driving record.
  • Service Technician Competency.
Physical Demands
  • In an average 8-hour day, the employee lifts/carries up to 75 pounds frequently.
  • In an average 8-hour day, the employee stands/walks 3 hours.
  • In an average 8-hour day, the employee sits 3 hours.
  • In an average 8-hour day, the employee drives 7 hours.
