Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Obstetrician and Gynecologist to join our team at Allina Health. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive care to women throughout their lives, from adolescence to senior care. Our Shoreview Clinic offers a range of services, including well visits, preventive screenings, and diagnostic imaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to women, including general medicine, reproductive system, pregnancy, and childbirth.
  • Review patient medical history, collect and prioritize comprehensive data, and work collaboratively with patients to improve their health and well-being.
  • Practice in a thoughtful manner, considering cultural diversity, individual autonomy, and legal responsibilities.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team approach to case management and utilize quality improvement tools to develop processes that promote continuous improvement in patient care and outcomes.
Practice Details

We have eight labor and delivery locations, with 13,800 deliveries per year. Our team includes 53 OBGYNs, 21 OB hospitalists, 13 Clinical Nurse Midwives, 11 Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists, and 2 fetal interventionalists. We offer nursing support programs, after-hours answering service support, and mentorship opportunities from a group of 80+ providers across our health system.

Requirements
  • MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required.
  • BE/BC with ABMS or AOA within Obstetrics and Gynecology upon hire.
  • Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain).
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI).
  • Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges, if applicable.
