Position: Resource Management Specialist

This role involves overseeing the clean-up and restoration processes for both residential and commercial properties within our Large Loss Division. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the procurement of necessary equipment and materials as directed by the Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and fulfill all material requests as instructed by the Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager, tailored to the specific project needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations, alongside company and client quality standards, while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and maintain a project schedule to guarantee timely service delivery, maintaining professionalism and empathy, including participation in an on-call rotation that may require evening and weekend availability.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized job site, ensuring a positive impression of our services.
  • Order and monitor all equipment and rental items as requested by the Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager.
  • Track and manage all equipment and supply movements, keeping inventory records current.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of equipment model and serial numbers.
  • Review rental invoices for correctness.
  • Ensure all equipment is operational and meets fuel requirements.
  • Complete daily timesheets, verifying customer details for accurate record-keeping.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and understanding of relevant MSDS for hazardous materials.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to comprehend instructions and engage effectively with clients, colleagues, and management.
  • Mechanical aptitude to understand equipment functionality.
  • Valid State Driver's License is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Google Drive, Excel) and familiarity with other software applications.
  • Basic understanding of handheld smart devices and a willingness to learn new technologies and software as necessary.
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Capability to follow verbal and written instructions related to projects.
  • Experience in managing temporary labor and achieving management objectives.
  • Knowledge of safety practices to mitigate accidents and injuries.
  • Ability to provide first aid for minor injuries and report incidents to the Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager.
  • Preferred: CDL license.

Travel Requirements:

This position requires travel for approximately 200 days each year, with potential extended assignments lasting up to 90 days. Our team responds to significant losses resulting from catastrophic events, necessitating prolonged clean-up efforts.
