Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Wound Care Nurse (LPN/RN) to become a vital part of our healthcare team. This role is essential for delivering exceptional patient care in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Serve as a liaison between the Wound Specialist Physician and nursing staff to ensure effective communication and care delivery.
2. Contribute to the development and execution of the Wound Care Program and its objectives.
3. Engage in staff development activities and provide educational programming.
4. Assist in implementing and monitoring compliance with policies, procedures, and standards of practice in line with corporate and regulatory guidelines.
5. Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to address all aspects of care aimed at promoting wound healing.
6. Deliver direct resident care focused on assessment, treatment, and follow-up for wound management as directed by the physician.
7. Maintain ongoing communication with physicians regarding resident care and assist regulatory surveyors as needed.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must:
1. Be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
2. Hold current Wound Care and CPR certifications.
3. Have a minimum of one year of experience in Wound Care (two years preferred).
4. Possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN or LPN in the state of practice.
5. Demonstrate compassion, dedication, and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
