Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Kettering Health. As a Respiratory Resource Specialist, you will provide high-level clinical respiratory care under indirect technical supervision, demonstrating a strong approach to all network initiatives and serving as a role model for our mission, vision, and values.
Responsibilities- Perform various respiratory procedures on a day-to-day basis under indirect supervision for all age groups as specified per campus departmental policy.
- Exercise good independent clinical judgment and discretion in applying and interpreting policies and procedures.
- Maintain productivity at or above required levels.
- Assure correct documentation of all records.
- Occasionally perform the role of Lead Therapist, shift Team Leader, or clinical Instructor as assigned.
- Minimum Education: Graduates of a 2–4-year AMA approved Respiratory Program.
- Required Licenses: Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner for the State of Ohio.
- Credentials: Active AARC member, acute/critical care knowledge as it relates to cardiopulmonary diseases states, involved in precepting acute/critical care areas, supervisor capabilities, current BLS with ACLS, P, and NRP for respective work area.
