Job Summary:

Kettering Health is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist I to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist I, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients of all ages, from adult to pediatric patients. Your expertise will include alveolar recruitment therapy, lung expansion therapy, aerosolized medication delivery systems, and ventilator initiation, management, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

Perform clinical aspects of respiratory care for all age groups

Conduct alveolar recruitment therapy and lung expansion therapy

Administer aerosolized medications and manage medical gas systems

Initiate, manage, and troubleshoot ventilators for adult and pediatric patients

Assist with bronchoscopy and provide bronchial hygiene therapy

Requirements:

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification

Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner from the State of Ohio

BLS and ACLS certification

Associate degree or higher in Respiratory Care

One year of practice as a Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner preferred
