About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Scientist to join our team at Atlas, a leading provider of civil engineering, materials testing, and geotechnical consulting services. As an Environmental Scientist, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients in the environmental, industrial, and infrastructure construction sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, including field assessments, historical research, and report writing.
  • Collect and analyze field data, including air, soil, and groundwater samples, and site inspections.
  • Provide administrative support to Project Managers as needed.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Atlas policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Engineering, or Environmental Sciences.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Phase I ESAs, site investigations, and report writing.
  • Valid US Driver's license.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other widely used computer programs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with EDR's Parcel and Quire Platforms.
  • 40 hr. OSHA HAZWOPER certification.
  • Working knowledge of TCEQ regulations.
