About the Career

The Emergency Department Nurse is a critical member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing age-appropriate emergent and non-emergent nursing care to patients in the emergency department. This role requires advanced knowledge and skills in treating pediatric patients, trauma patients, critically ill or injured patients, and assisting physicians in all forms of medical resuscitation.

The ideal candidate will possess strong assessment and triage skills, with the ability to prioritize patients' care and anticipate their needs. As a member of our healthcare team, you will serve to meet the needs of patients, their families, and the community by providing quality nursing care and emotional or spiritual support in times of crisis.

Requirements
  • Current Colorado or compact state RN license or ability to become licensed.
  • Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a Bachelor's, Associated, or Diploma in Nursing.
  • BLS required upon hire.
  • Previous Emergency Department experience preferred.
