Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team at Grafton City Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's Degree in a relevant Nurse Practitioner Program and be certified by either ANCC or AANP Board. Previous primary care experience in a clinical setting is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess health status, diagnose, develop plans of care and treatment, implement treatment plans, and follow up with evaluations of the patient's status.
  • Use clinical judgments in conducting health assessments, making diagnoses, and prescribing pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to identify changing patient needs and develop effective care plans.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in a relevant Nurse Practitioner Program.
  • Certification by either ANCC or AANP Board.
  • Previous primary care experience in a clinical setting.
  • Current license as a Nurse Practitioner from the West Virginia Board of Registered Nurses and current RN license.
