We have a Summer 2025 internship opportunity in our Champaign, IL Construction Team. The internship will provide an opportunity to assist engineers with construction inspection services on various municipal infrastructure and roadway projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist engineers with site surveying and documentation of construction activities.
  • Compute quantities and verify measurements and layouts on project sites.
  • Research specifications and codes as needed.
  • Perform basic calculations to organize and analyze data.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Declared major in Civil Engineering and interest in Transportation.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and documents.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel & Word) and CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bentley ORD, MicroStation).
  • Valid driver's license.
