About the PositionThis is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the education and clinical care of our patients, while also advancing your career as a faculty member. As an Optometrist (Open Rank), you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, teaching and mentoring students and residents, and participating in departmental and institutional service activities.
Responsibilities- Provide clinical care to patients in the Department of Ophthalmology
- Teach and mentor students and residents in the School of Medicine
- Participate in departmental and institutional service activities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical and educational programs
To be considered for this position, you must possess a Texas Optometric license or be eligible for licensure in Texas. You should also have excellent clinical skills, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to education and service.
