Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at The Centers. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the efficient operation of our nursing department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement nursing plans of care, correlating physical assessment findings with other relevant data from the medical record.
  • Develop problem statements, define measurable and realistic patient outcomes, and order nursing interventions relevant to patient problems/needs.
  • Ensure patients and/or significant others understand and accept the nursing plan, evaluate patient progression toward expected outcomes, and analyze specific changes in patient condition.
  • Implement interventions and document response, identify, implement, and document discharge needs in a timely manner.
  • Perform nursing procedures or treatments according to departmental standards, ensuring compliance with Universal Precautions, Infection Control, and Safety Policy and Procedures.
  • Contribute to the efficient operation of the nursing department by maintaining patient confidentiality, discussing intra-unit problems with involved personnel, and referring to supervisors as needed.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and visitors, working cooperatively with co-workers and other agency staff.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of an accredited School of Practical Nursing LPN licensure in Arkansas.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
