CHRISTUS Health, a leading healthcare provider, seeks an experienced and skilled Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of nursing practice within our organization.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to lead our clinical nursing teams. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in nursing leadership and a passion for driving excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop high-performing clinical nursing teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement evidence-based practice models that improve patient care and reduce costs.
  • Provide expert guidance and mentorship to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Develop and implement education programs to enhance the competence of nursing staff.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership role within a hospital setting.
  • Current RN license in state of employment or compact state.
  • BLS certification required.

Work Schedule:

This is a per diem position, working as needed.

Salary Range:

$65,000 - $80,000 annually, depending on experience.
