- Supervise part-time staff, members, and visitors to maintain a secure and safe environment.
- In the absence of direct supervision, provide oversight to part-time employees, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Directly oversee seasonal staff roles.
- Respond to emergencies, documenting incidents thoroughly and promptly, and liaising with local authorities when necessary.
- Consistently enforce safety protocols.
- Assist frontline staff in managing challenging customer interactions.
- Reassign staff as needed based on operational demands.
- Participate in safety committee meetings as directed.
- Attend management meetings on a regular basis.
- Serve as the Manager on Duty during assigned shifts
- Establish authority and respect among staff, members, and guests.
- Ensure the safety of all individuals within the facility, reporting issues to the Operations Director.
- Gather information to make informed decisions that benefit the facility and its patrons.
- Monitor situations to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure compliance with policies.
- Be knowledgeable about emergency procedures and implement them as required.
- Possess a foundational understanding of all operational departments.
- Address employee and facility concerns effectively.
- Assist with financial transactions and customer service at various points of contact.
- Engage with staff and guests to foster a welcoming atmosphere.
- Handle sensitive situations, including complaints and incidents, with professionalism.
- Stay informed about ongoing activities and promotions to ensure smooth execution.
- Maintain a visible presence throughout the facility, checking in with departments regularly.
- Assist with closing procedures and ensure accuracy in departmental checklists.
- Document observations and incidents in the Manager on Duty report, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Secure financial areas at the beginning and end of each shift.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma is required.
- Preferred candidates will have higher education or an Associate's Degree, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of two years in a supervisory role is required.
- Additional experience in safety, security, or maintenance is preferred.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
- Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.

Certificates and Licenses:
- CPR/AED/First Aid certification is required or must be obtained within a specified timeframe.
