Hma INC is seeking a highly skilled Medical Coding Auditor II to join our team. As a Medical Coding Auditor II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our medical claims processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply coding expertise and medical claims knowledge to perform timely and accurate audits of medical claims invoices.
- Consistently complete audits within the required turnaround time, with a high percentage of reviews completed within three business days.
- Become a subject matter expert on coding guidelines and collaborate with internal teams to deliver a high-quality, coordinated claim experience.
- Provide accurate and timely support for Hma INC responses to provider disputes of CPR determinations.
- Contribute to efficient and effective medical claims review processes and practices.
Requirements
- Current Certified Professional Coder certificate required.
- 3-5 years of health plan experience.
- 3+ years of medical code auditing experience.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Strong client-facing verbal and written communication skills.
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently.
