Mobile Service Technician

Rihm Family Companies is seeking a skilled Mobile Service Technician to join our team. As a Mobile Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles and components, including MX engines, at client locations, DOT inspection locations, or roadside.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair vehicles and components, including MX engines
  • Perform on-site service and/or redirect service to Rihm's shop if needed
  • Manage service calls that require more time than anticipated and communicate with supervisor and customer immediately if additional work or time is needed
  • Create repair orders and accurately document all work performed on a repair
  • Accurately document time allocated to each repair and provide thorough descriptions of repairs performed

Requirements:

  • Experience in heavy and medium truck repair
  • Exceptional mechanical, analytical, and reasoning skills
  • MX Engine Certification
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class B) or ability to acquire
  • Ability to pass DOT drug screen and physical
