This includes refreshing rooms for guests who are continuing their stay, as well as thoroughly cleaning rooms of guests who have checked out in preparation for the next guest checking in.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Room Cleaning and Maintenance: Thoroughly clean guest rooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and dusting.
  • Restocking and Replenishing: Restock and replace used items within guest rooms, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
  • Communication and Guest Services: Communicate the clean status of each room upon completion, providing exceptional customer service to guests.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Check all equipment prior to and after use to ensure it is in good working order.
  • Supply Management: Stock supply carts and ensure they are neat and well-organized at all times.

Requirements:

  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Customer Service Skills: Strong customer service skills, with the ability to respond to guests efficiently and in an appropriately friendly manner.
  • Physical Demands: Ability and willingness to stand for 8 hours at a time, bend, stretch, reach, and push up to 20 lbs.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Ability and willingness to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping is strongly preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills to assist guests and work effectively with the team.
