Job Description

The Maintenance Operations Director will provide strategic leadership and oversight to the engineering and maintenance department, ensuring that all facilities are safe, secure, and well-maintained. This role requires a strong technical background and leadership skills to supervise and manage a team effectively. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and be able to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Main Responsibilities

- Develop and implement effective preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan
- Conduct regular inspections and evaluations of facilities to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and optimize operational processes
- Supervise and manage a team of engineers and maintenance staff to ensure efficient operation of the physical plant

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, construction management)
- Minimum 4 years of experience in engineering and maintenance or a related field
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC-R, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
