Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Med Surg/Telemetry Nurse to join our team. As a Med Surg/Telemetry Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes and provide a safe and supportive environment for our patients and families.
Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care to Med Surg/Telemetry patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and report patient vital signs and changes in condition to the healthcare team.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
Requirements:
• Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Med Surg/Telemetry nursing.
• ACLS, NIH, and BCLS certifications required.
• EPIC charting experience preferred.
