As a key member of the established EHS team, you will foster and maintain a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with government regulations and industry standards.

About the Role
Inspect and evaluate working areas to ensure compliance with government safety regulations and industry standards. Develop loss prevention programs to reduce workplace injuries and hazards. Conduct accident investigations and root-cause analysis to identify and resolve safety issues. Analyze safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Coach and mentor staff on specific safety roles to ensure successful compliance. Protect employees, customers, and the environment by identifying and correcting hazardous situations or business practices. Draft and maintain EHS policies, ensuring compliance with all EHS standards.

Responsibilities

• Implement and communicate loss prevention programs to reduce and control workplace injuries and hazards.
• Analyze safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Investigate accidents to identify their causes and find ways to prevent them in the future.
• Draft and maintain EHS policies, ensuring compliance with all EHS standards.
• Work closely with various levels of the organization regarding safety matters.
