Role Overview
As a DSP Software Engineer, you will join a collaborative team within the Bose Automotive Software Center of Excellence. Your role will involve implementing advanced audio processing algorithms on premium automotive processors, creating unique and immersive audio experiences. You will collaborate with research teams to transition acoustic concepts from initial prototypes to full-scale implementations, and work alongside audio engineers globally to refine sound experiences based on these developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop software for algorithms focused on music and voice processing using MATLAB, Simulink, and C.
- Design high-level software frameworks for these algorithms.
- Create thorough unit and system tests to validate the functionality of the algorithms.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, specializing in DSP or Communications.
- Strong proficiency in C, MATLAB, and a scripting language such as Perl or Python.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with adaptive filtering, sub-band filtering, and other advanced filtering techniques.
- Experience with Simulink modeling and its libraries.
