Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Support Specialist to join our team at Pride Health. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced medical environment.

Salary Range: $15.00/hr to $20.00/hr

Location: New York, NY 10019

About the Role

This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of medical services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical/technical/service/administrative support to patients and healthcare teams
  • Assist with laboratory testing, EKGs, PFTs, and audiometry as ordered by physicians
  • Document patient information accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to OSHA Regulations and CLIA guidelines
  • Engage with patients and visitors, ensuring prompt and courteous service
  • Process transactions and update patient records using current computer systems
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with completion of an approved Medical Assistant certificate course
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant or two years' relevant work experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to adapt to a dynamic environment and prioritize tasks effectively
