Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our team at BLN24, a rapidly growing Federal consulting company. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining data processing pipelines and systems using Python, SQL, and modern data engineering tools.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with experience in developing and maintaining scalable data systems and pipelines. They will also have a solid understanding of analytics platforms and the ability to implement data processing solutions that drive insights.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining data processing pipelines and systems using Python, SQL, and modern data engineering tools.
  • Supporting the design and implementation of scalable data architectures and workflows.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning and analytics models into systems.
  • Assisting in the research, evaluation, and assessment of technology solutions related to data processing, machine learning, and AI.
  • Developing, testing, and deploying data engineering solutions that support data-driven business processes.
  • Conducting rigorous testing and optimization to ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability.
  • Contributing to the development and refinement of systems that leverage advanced analytics and machine learning.
  • Participating in operational support and troubleshooting to resolve issues in data pipelines and systems.
  • Providing input on system design and contributing to critical development projects aimed at improving business processes and customer solutions.
Required Skills/Abilities & Experience:

The successful candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data processing, data engineering, Python, and SQL.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining scalable data systems and pipelines.
  • Familiarity with machine learning and AI technologies and their integration into data-driven systems.
  • Ability to support system design and provide critical contributions to development projects.
  • Strong experience with data architecture, workflow design, and system optimization.
  • Solid understanding of analytics platforms and ability to implement data processing solutions that drive insights.
  • Proven ability to conduct research and evaluate technology solutions for analytics and data engineering.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for operational support.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teams across departments.
