Maintenance Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment at our solid-fuel power plant in Southern California.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians to ensure the power plant operates smoothly and efficiently.
  • Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations to team members.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to minimize downtime and costs.
  • Coordinate with other departments to minimize production interruptions.
  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and inspection of solid-fuel power plant equipment.
  • Manage the CMMS work order system and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Generate reports on maintenance performance and equipment reliability.
  • Assist in the development of the maintenance budget and manage expenses within budgetary constraints.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (technical education or certification or military experience is a plus).
  • Power plant supervisory experience.
  • Solid-fuel power plant experience is required.
  • CMMS experience.
