We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Infant Teacher to join our team at World Of Knowledge Child Development Center Inc in Lincoln, NE.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the lead teacher in creating a secure environment for all age groups, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote early learning and socialization.
  • Engage in play and interactive age-appropriate activities to encourage cognitive, physical, and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with the lead teacher and other team members to create and maintain an organized and visually stimulating classroom environment.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining learning materials and equipment.
  • Adhere to all safety and health regulations and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the classroom and play areas.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working in a childcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish positive relationships with children, parents, and team members.
  • Knowledge of child development and understanding of age-related milestones.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Patient, compassionate, and calm demeanor.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and needs within the center.
