Job Title: Infant Teacher

At Primrose School of Lincoln at Wilderness Hills, we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Infant Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our educational child care team, you will play a vital role in helping young minds explore, discover, and understand the world around them.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Infant Teacher to plan and implement an ongoing program of activities that promote the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child, in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning approach to teaching and learning.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage a group of children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Implement the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum and programming.
  • Assess each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis and provide individualized support.
  • Work collaboratively with the Leadership Team to plan parent-teacher conferences and student evaluations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and attractive classroom environment that encourages children to create, explore, and make decisions with confidence.
  • Provide verbal recognition and acceptance to children while providing clear and consistent expectations for their behavior.
  • Assist in other capacities as determined by the Director or designee.
Requirements:
  • Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency.
  • Previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program preferred.
  • Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
Compensation:

$15.00 per hour
