Role Description:
Be part of a group that facilitates the integration of applications into Apple's iCloud Services.

We seek exceptional engineers who can closely collaborate with our partner teams, offering both architectural and implementation insights to maximize the benefits of Apple's cloud solutions.

iCloud and CloudKit provide cloud capabilities to millions of users across numerous applications. The ideal candidate is well-organized, communicates effectively, and exhibits strong collaboration abilities.

We are looking for an individual with a robust engineering background, experienced in delivering technical solutions and deploying production applications at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with partner engineering teams integrating Apple iCloud features and maintain awareness of project statuses.
  • Offer architectural and implementation expertise for large-scale applications.
  • Review partner code, identify issues, and suggest enhancements.
  • Address open issues swiftly by engaging the appropriate team members and communicate the plan clearly, ensuring accountability regarding project leads, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Provide documentation, product insights, and tooling recommendations to streamline the process for future partners.
Minimum Qualifications:
5 years of experience in designing, delivering, and supporting solutions utilizing cloud services. Recent experience in software development using Swift, Objective-C, Java, or other widely utilized languages. Experience with large-scale databases (Relational or NoSQL).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in deploying and maintaining scalable applications. Proficient in Data Modeling and API design. Skilled in managing technical and organizational complexities. Excellent communication abilities. Capacity to foster relationships with diverse groups. Flexible problem-solving approach. Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related discipline or equivalent job-related experience.
Compensation & Benefits:
At Apple, base pay is one component of our comprehensive compensation package and is determined within a range. This allows for growth as you advance in your role. The base pay range for this position is between $175,800 and $312,200, depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.

Employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
