We are seeking a skilled Immunizer RN to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide professional nursing care to populations with special needs, focusing on the prevention of illness, injury, or disability, and the promotion of health and maintenance of the health of populations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care in accordance with nurse protocols, policies, and/or procedures.
- Focus on the prevention of illness, injury, or disability, and the promotion of health and maintenance of the health of populations.
- Care for populations with special needs during disasters/emergencies and biological and chemical protocols.
- Know vaccine schedules for children and adults and administer necessary vaccines.
- Conduct audits for schools and daycares, as well as scoliosis screenings for schools.
- Perform hearing/vision/dental screenings needed for school attendance.
- Cross-train to TB, Child Health, Family Planning, and IDC clinics.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Superior interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under established clinic protocols.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with corporate clients.
- Self-directed with the ability to complete tasks without detailed supervision.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Experience vaccinating all age groups.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
