We are seeking an experienced Certified or Registered Medical Assistant to join our team at Medical Temporaries, Inc. in Chesapeake, VA.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time/temp to hire position requiring availability between 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. As a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent patient care while abiding by all HIPAA laws and regulations in a physician's office setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Obtain vitals and reconcile medication
  • Room patients and document in patient charts (EHR)
  • Manage stocks for the back office and sterilize the back office
  • Assist the provider during patient visits
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant
  • Valid Virginia LPN License or valid multi-state LPN licensure
  • BLS
  • COVID vaccination or medical waiver
  • Ability to pass Background Check and Drug Screen
  • Reliable and quick learner with excellent written and verbal communication skills
