Banquet Server

At Grosse Pointe Yacht Club, we are seeking a highly skilled and professional Banquet Server to join our team.

The Banquet Server will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members and their guests in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This role requires a strong understanding of fine dining and table-side service, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team.

• Provide exceptional service to members and their guests, ensuring a high level of professionalism and hospitality.
• Assist with banquet food service, including setting up and clearing tables, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized service area.
• Work effectively in a team, communicating with colleagues and supervisors to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge of menu items, menu enhancements, and preparation methods.
• Inspect service areas prior to opening to ensure adequate supplies are available.
• Continuously seek to enhance knowledge and skills related to service, including fine dining and table-side service.

• High school diploma or equivalent in a related field.
• Two or more years' experience in a similar position, preferably in a fine dining or banquet service environment.
• Ability to work scheduled hours, including holidays and weekends, as needed.
• Ability to lift 50lbs and perform other physical demands of the job.
