About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Service & Assembly Technician to join our team at Apollo Retail. As a Service & Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the furniture department at various retail locations, performing in-store tasks, and ensuring the safety of all display items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the furniture department at different retail locations
  • Perform in-store tasks, including light dusting and vacuuming, making minor repairs to display items, and completing special projects as assigned
  • Follow protocols to ensure the safety of all display items in the department
  • Complete an in-depth report on the store kiosk at the conclusion of each service call
  • Position furniture and create a customer-ready furniture department
  • Utilize the plan-o-gram to ensure furniture is organized correctly and identify any missing items
  • Build and develop trust and confidence with store managers through knowledge of Apollo policies and procedures
  • Complete furniture assemblies after the service visit as needed
  • Participate in projects in other retailers as requested by manager
Requirements
  • Must have own reliable transportation to travel 30 to 60 miles to multiple store locations each day
  • In some markets, must have a basic tool set
  • Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and Apollo management team
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb, and lift 50 lbs throughout the day
  • Must work hours between 8 AM and 5 PM Monday - Friday (encouraged to accept weekends and evenings as needed)
  • Ability to read diagrams or instructions, process instructions, and use hand tools and power tools
  • Must be 18 years or older

Pays
  • $16/hr for Service Shifts
