We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at Providence Medford Medical Center. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and supporting the surgical team during procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the surgeon and surgical team during procedures by providing the necessary supplies, instruments, and equipment.
- Maintain proper sterile technique during procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Work closely with the surgical team to optimize positive surgical outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Completion of a surgical technology program accredited by the CAAHEP or ABHES and holds an active certification by the NBSTSA, JCAHPO, or NCCT.
- Or completion of a training program in a branch of the armed forces or in the Public Health Service Commissioned Corp and who completed 16 hours of continuing education every two years.
