We are seeking a highly skilled Wafer Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Headway Technologies, Inc. as a Semiconductor Manufacturing Operator. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in high-volume manufacturing and a passion for delivering high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities- Disposition wafers through the semiconductor wafer manufacturing production process, including photolithography, plating, polish, and vacuum areas.
- Record data in the Work in Process (WIP) tracking system.
- Analyze data and report anomalies to the Production Supervisor as needed.
- Learn, understand, and adhere to established Manufacturing Engineering Instructions (MPIs) for assigned areas.
- Learn, achieve, and maintain required certifications on assigned tools or operational areas.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in productivity, yield enhancement, and scrap reduction.
- Respond to inquiries from other team members, managers, or departments.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures as required.
- Work scheduled overtime as required.
- One year of experience working as an Operator or Assembler in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably in the semiconductor or electronics industry.
- Strong experience using microscopes, small hand tools, or manufacturing tools/equipment.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications.
The Wafer Fabrication Specialist works in a class 100 ESD sensitive wafer manufacturing facility on an assigned shift. The position requires wearing a cleanroom suit, including a hood, gloves, safety glasses, booties, and mask. The employee may be exposed to hazardous conditions, chemicals, fumes, and/or gases during the course of the workday. The schedule may be altered from time-to-time to suit operational needs.
The employee must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, closely observe items through a microscope, and perform repetitive grasping motions. The employee may be required to push, pull, or lift up to 30 pounds. The position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
